From the Mouths of Babes in January

Eileen:  I asked my teacher for a large ziplock bag.  I need to make a cover for my underwear so it doesn't get wet when I sit on my favorite rock at recess.

(disappear for about 10 minutes and then returns)

Eileen:  They're a little too small.

I stepped away for one minute

These days I feel like I spend a lot of time in waiting rooms.  Last week I stepped away from the kids for one minute (or probably several more).  I just discovered that the boys had a little fun in my absence.

Instead of being annoyed that they were playing with my phone, I'm glad they can just have fun together.  Robin is such a lucky boy to have a big brother.  I love how Linus has the ability to take something boring, like doctor waiting rooms, and turn it into something special.

Me: No Robin!  Stop! We don't drink from the toilet.
Robin: Hee hee.

Robin:  Why are we alive right now?
Me:  Because God made us.
Robin:  Why did God make us?

Eileen:  Dada just please go downstairs.
Dave:  Go by yourself or I'm going to make up a word.
Eileen: No, I'm too scared.
Dave: I'm gonna do it....treeple.
Eileen: Nooo!
Dave:  Do you know what it means? Treeple.  It means three people.
Eileen:  Dada just go downstairs.
Dave:  I can't.  I'm afraid of the treeple.

Robin: I'm a very clever boy.

Me:  Robin, what's your favorite thing Santa got you for Christmas?
Robin:  Tic Tacs.   (to be fair, the were Elf Mix)
