The Right Decision

Some people thought I was crazy when I got pregnant again---having kids close together, the fact that I had a horrible pregnancy and delivery the first time around, the expense, the chaos...... Recently, everything seems to be coming together and I can't imagine not giving Linus a sibling.

Linus loves his baby sister, and loves to hold her.


This morning I watched as Linus made his way toward Eileen and I just knew he was going to do something sweet, so I grabbed the camera.



If you can't tell he is singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" while trying to do the same motions I do with Eileen.  Linus likes to try to play the same games I do with her.  His other favorite is to bicycle peddle her legs while singing "Run Baby Run" by Casper Babypants.

If moments like this don't make you want kids, I don't know what will.  I will have to remember to look back on this video in the fall  when I start paying $3000 a month for childcare.

    We only have to pay $3000 for about two months. Then Linus turns 3 and Eileen 1 so it will drop to like $2600. Still painful.

    "I love my baby!" Were sweeter words ever spoken? And I love how she "kisses" him back (it's the rooting mechinism, I know, but it's still adorable)!
